House rules and general informatie for guests

At your arrival one of our staff will make photocopies of your passports. This is for the registration and tourist taxes

Please utilise our free WI-FI service

Our staff starts their day at 07:30 hrs and are here till 16:00 hrs. They have a break of an hour after their lunch. The staff will be busy attending to the grounds, maintenance, cleaning of rooms, etc. but will attend to your needs when asked. Staff will get you drinks etc. on request and ask you to sign a bill for them unless you prefer to pay cash. Eddy our manager speaks Indonesian & can assist with translations at any time if you need help.

If you require the safe storage of papers, passports, money etc. you can ask the manager and he will put them in the safe for you. Please plan to give notice of your need to access the safe in case the manager is not here. There is also a safe in the Poolside Pavilion and the large room on the lower floor of the main building (room 3)

For all  lunches or dinners please consult the staff for the menus and prices. You can book to your account or pay cash. Meals and preferred times must be arranged in advance with the staff so we can source the fresh ingredients, plan staff times & prepare and serve as requested. As we are not a hotel or restaurant, we do not stock all the food as described on the menu’s.

Beverages can be ordered also throughout the day. If you have particular dietary requirements please let the staff know when you arrive.

It is also possible to Dine at- or order meals from local restaurants and you will find menus available in the kitchen area. Some of these offer a pick-up/drop-off transfer service for free. EG. To Lovina: Spice Beach Club, Budha Bakery, Global Village, Le’ Costa on the beach (also outdoor movie evenings on Friday & Saturday nights). Please ask Eddy & we will make all bookings for you and ensure special treatment.

There is a local store (REJEKI) only minutes away by motor bike and they stock a lot of international products. Ask the staff for details. If you would like our staff to go and get things for you they will (when available) for a fee of only 40,000 IDR of take you on the back of a motor bike.

Electricity costs and our footprint on this Island paradise are important to us all. Please take care to switch off fans, lights & Air Conditioners whenever you leave your room/s. AC units will not cool rooms if left on as all rooms are not sealed due to our wonderful plantation Shutters. They are there for your comfort when in the room and for sleeping. Staff may enter rooms to switch these & lights off if unattended.

SMOKING in the house or rooms is not permitted but there are many terraces and grounds areas where you can smoke. Please consider other guests & dispose of butts responsibly. Staff will provide ashtrays on request.

Bed linen will be changed every 3 days and towels every 2 days.

There is a laundry service available at additional charges. Please ask the staff. Most people do not need ironing here in Bali, but it is available if requested.

MASSAGE, Yoga, Scuba Diving Lessons, etc.
The staff can make an appointment to have a professional come to the Villa or your room or you can go off-site. Please ask the management for prices for these services and availabilities. To be truly spoilt we recommend the Lovina Hotel Spa & transfers to & from are complimentary.

During your stay you can arrange your own transport and our staff will assist with this if you require. You can hire a car with driver, a rent a car or rent a motor bike. Our staff can also take you on tours, drop-off’s & pick-ups and prices for these are available on request. Our car and driver are available for airport transfers, tours, etc. from 650,000 IDR (approx $48) for a 8 hour day  or 400,000 IDR for 4 hours, including fuel costs.

Please inform our staff asap of any accidents/damages during your stay so these can be quickly repaired or replaced and the cost/s agreed.

The pool is open ONLY from 07:30 till 20:30 and pool towels are available on request. Please take your towels back to your outside hangers for use the next day. Please do not leave towels and other belongings behind when you leave the pool area/s. Swimming in the infinity pool after these hours will cause a loss of water and incur a fee.

The management or staff of Villa Luna is not responsible for any accidents in or around the Villa & grounds including the pool, so please be careful and watch children at all times. Inflatable beds/toys/floaties, kids pools, snorkels, etc available on request.

PLEASE do not enter the buildings while still dripping wet from the pool. The floors are slippery when wet and dangerous to you and others if wet.

For cheap local & International connections you can buy a sim card from Simpati. Please ask the staff for details.

The Villa has many steps & stairs to negotiate so please be careful and especially at night. Not all lighting stays on all night but most of the steep steps areas are lit into the night for your safety.

Check-in times are between 2pm & 5pm. Later check-ins will incur a 200.000Rp fee for the retention of staff to assist with luggage, venue inspection, room selections, etc.

Please respect the check- out time of NOON unless otherwise agreed to prior.

The staff are there to assist with your luggage on request. Make sure you check you have not left anything behind!

The main front gates are often closed but you can slide the small gate open from either side. If you need assistance with anything, please ask any of the staff.
